Sandi Has Been Recovered

AWOL Dogs was sent a picture of Sandi, a tri-color beagle lost in Arlington the previous after noon, January 14th, 2011 with a little information about her and how she disappeared. The volunteer that recieved the email sent it around to the AWOL Dogs email list and to other contacts. 

Another AWOL Dogs volunteer looked on Pet Harbor and immediately found Sandi at the Arlington Shelter. It seems she had already been given the name of Pandora!

Sandi's mom, who happens to be new to the area, had called the shelter, before the shelter had opened, and was told that she would get a call around noon. She didn't know anything about http://www.petharbor.com/, and the answering service didn't mention that she might check for her dog there. The AWOL Dogs volunteer called Sandi's mom and sent her the picture from Pet Harbor, and it was indeed Sandi. Welcome back home, little girl!
